yazak wont update

when i download yazak and the vb after installtion and i open yazak and go to sign in it all disappeares. it will not open, and when i go to update it says it does but when it opens again the same update is there. plz help

another questions is do you have yahoo messenger on your computer?
what firewall do you use?
